• 7 Reasons Why You Should Visit Canada (Because 5 Wasn't Enough)

Thinking of visiting Canada this summer? The reasons are endless, but we’ve picked seven of our favourites because five just wasn’t enough!

    Affordability

Take advantage of the weaker Canadian dollar with a trip with family, friends or colleagues that won't break your budget. Your hard earned income will go further here.

    Friendliness with happiness

Surveys by Forbes Magazine and the Institute for Economics' Peace (Global Peace Index) ranked Canadians & Canada as one of the happiest & friendliest, as well as safest for tourists. Experience this yourself.

Unmatched natural beauty & EPIC Landscapes

We're the second largest country in the world, yet with only 35 million or so inhabitants, we also have the lowest population density - that means you can enjoy the open roads, less crowds and connect with nature. Depending on where you are, you could even see the Northern Lights.

    Poutine & Caesars

A visit to the Great White North will not be complete without sampling our most legendary cuisine and beverage - poutine & caesars! Curious? We suggest trying them on your visit.

    Wildlife

Canada may not have penguins (different hemisphere), but we DO have polar bears, grizzly bears, beluga whales, moose, lynx, and Canada goose wandering our landscapes. We also have mountain goats (they're pretty fluffy). You can look (we suggest taking a camera with you), but you are prohibited from touching!

Activities Galore in the Great Outdoors

Our vast and varying landscapes in mountains, lakes, glaciers, rivers and forests give way to a diverse range of activities for all ages and interests. Hiking, biking, camping, fishing, golfing, canoeing…..You name it, and chances are we'll have it in spades. We're not encouraging you to (spring) ski, golf and raft in a day, although that HAS been done before.

    The Canadian Rockies

We're proud to be in the Canadian Rockies. And even prouder to call it home since 1892 thanks to Bill and Jim Brewster's decision to operate guided tours. We're very excited to welcome Maligne Lake to the Brewster family operations this upcoming summer as well as the re-opening of the Banff Gondola after an extensive redevelopment to the upper terminal.
